2 mm ID Silicone Tubing for Sale

RONTEIX manufactures silicone tubing with inner diameters of 2 mm, 3 mm, and 4 mm for establishing and transmitting vacuum signals.

  • Ultra-small dead volume: Faster pressure build-up and release, and more precise solenoid valve control.
  • Excellent sealing performance: The small inner diameter ensures a tight fit, the joint has a high contact area, and the pipe wall has good elasticity, maintaining a tight seal even after thermal cycling.
  • Quick installation: Small bending radius, flexible routing, simple joint matching, and cutting of steel whips, with a high degree of tolerance for errors.

Why Choose RONTEIX 2 mm Silicone Tubing

Why Choose RONTEIX 2 mm Silicone Tubing?

Fast Vacuum Response

The small internal volume allows the vacuum port and pressure signal to be established and released quickly.

Heat and Aging Resistance

Our 2 mm silicone tubing can withstand temperatures ranging from -60°C to 260°C. It is suitable for engine compartment environments subject to heat exposure and repeated thermal cycling.

Flexible

The silicone tubing’s small inner diameter prevents it from collapsing and causes it to return to its original shape more slowly after being bent.

Reliable for Control Lines

2 mm silicone tubing performs well for conveying air, vacuum, and dry gas signals.

Brass Fittings for 2 mm Silicone Tubing

Brass fittings for 2 mm silicone tubing are primarily used for connecting, branching, redirecting, and sealing. These fittings can be used with micro, straight, elbow, and tee fittings.

Pressure- and vacuum-resistant

RONTEIX brass fittings are suitable for vacuum, low-pressure air, and control gas lines. Its miniature brass fittings can withstand operating pressures of 0.4–0.5 MPa and, under vacuum conditions, can withstand -100 kPa.

High strength, resistant to deformation

Our fittings are resistant to pulling, vibration, and repeated assembly and disassembly. The body has good heat resistance and is not prone to embrittlement.

Precise dimensional fit

Our brass fittings are designed for 2 mm ID silicone tubing to prevent slipping. Each fitting fits snugly against the inner wall of the silicone tubing and can be secured using a small clamp or a cable tie.

How to Produce 2 mm Silicone Tubing

How to Produce 2 mm Silicone Tubing?

RONTEIX 2 mm silicone tubing is mass-produced by extrusion. We guarantee inner diameter accuracy, uniform wall thickness, and vulcanization stability.

Raw Material Preparation and Mixing

We add carbon black, color masterbatch, and vulcanizing agents to the raw rubber. After mixing, we filter out impurities to facilitate subsequent processing.

Extrusion Molding

After the compound is cut into strips, we feed it into the extruder. It is pushed forward by the screw and extruded through the die and mandrel into a tubular shape.

Continuous Vulcanization

We immediately place the freshly extruded tube blanks into the vulcanization oven, where they undergo cross-linking via hot air or microwaves.

Cooling and Secondary Vulcanization

After vulcanization and molding, the tubing must be cooled to set its shape and prevent deformation caused by internal stress.
