Automotive Molded Rubber Hoses
RONTEIX manufactures and exports turbocharger intake pipes, coolant hoses, fuel lines, and vacuum hoses produced using the moulded process.
We supply original equipment manufacturer (OEM) rubber hoses for a range of vehicle makes, including BMW, Honda, Nissan, Ford and Volvo. Our hoses:
High design flexibility
We are able to manufacture rubber hoses with complex three-dimensional structures, including bends, branches, varying cross-sections, corrugations, protrusions and grooves.
High dimensional accuracy
The dimensional tolerances of key mating surfaces are tight, making them suitable for precision assembly applications.
Low internal stress
The rubber compound flows naturally within the mould cavity during vulcanisation, resulting in low stress levels, minimal shrinkage and high stability.
Waterproof and crack-resistant
Our rubber material is heat-moulded to increase cross-linking density, making it more resistant to chemicals, UV radiation and mechanical stress.
Integrated inserts and reinforcement layers
We can embed metal connectors directly into the mould and incorporate pre-embedded braided or wound layers to enhance pressure resistance.
How are RONTEIX Molded Rubber Hoses Made?
Raw Material Preparation: We dry and soften the raw rubber, and then add vulcanizing agents, accelerators, reinforcing agents, and other additives.
- Compounding: In the internal mixer, we add the plasticised rubber and compounding agents in sequence and mix them thoroughly.
- Cutting: We cut the compound into blanks based on the volume of the mould cavity and the weight of the product.
- Moulding: Place the measured rubber blank precisely into the preheated mould cavity.
- Mould vulcanisation: We close the mould in a flat vulcanising press and apply pressure. This allows the rubber compound to flow within the mould cavity, filling all the details whilst a cross-linking reaction takes place
- Demoulding: Depressurise the press, open the mould and remove the moulded part. Then carry out trimming.
