2" Silicone Hose by Function
RONTEIX 2″ silicone hoses are categorized by the following functions to help engines transport coolant, compressed air, and other fluids.
Used in a pressurization system, the cold side has a lower temperature, while the hot side has a higher temperature.
Wide range of applications, available in high-temperature-resistant or oil- and gas-resistant options.
With a fluorinated silicone lining inside, the section closest to the turbine is exposed to higher temperatures.
Multi-layer polyester or aramid reinforcements, suitable for oil-laden air,
Used to transport coolant between the engine and the radiator; resistant to pulsation fatigue.
Suitable for heater hoses or small circulation hoses, pressure-resistant, not suitable for fuel or engine oil.
2 Inch Silicone Hose by Shape
RONTEIX 2″ silicone hoses are available in the following configurations to accommodate different engine compartment spaces and simplify installation.

Compared to smaller-diameter hoses, RONTEIX 2-inch ID silicone hoses are better suited for use in cooling systems, industrial ventilation, hot air applications, and cooling water circulation systems.

RONTEIX offers high-temperature 2″ silicone hoses in color, diameter, length, wall thickness, reinforcements, shape, and more. Based on your required pressure resistance, we provide reinforcement layers such as aramid, polyester, and steel wire. 2 Inch Vacuum Hose
RONTEIX offers vacuum hoses made of PVC, silicone, and rubber for industrial, automotive, and commercial applications. We use blue, red, black, gray, and green vacuum hoses with added steel wire, fabric reinforcement layers, or spiral or corrugated structures.
Automotive Pressurized and Vacuum Silicone Hoses
2-inch vacuum hoses are primarily used in custom vehicle models for power steering applications. They are heat- and oil-resistant and offer excellent airtightness.
Industrial Vacuum Suction Hoses
Our 2-in-1 vacuum hoses are particularly suitable for industrial suction applications with low to medium flow rates and feature a steel wire spiral reinforcement layer.
Vacuum-Insulated Hose

2 Inch Flexible Fuel Filler Hose
RONTEIX 2” flexible fuel filler hoses are compatible with gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and other fuels. Made from FKM, VMQ, NBR, and CR materials, they resist fuel swelling, fuel vapor permeation, and temperature fluctuations.
Our 2-inch fuel hoses are suitable for high-flow refueling and feature a steel wire reinforcement layer to prevent collapse. Their seals rely on clamps, flanges, or quick-connect fittings to prevent interruptions in the oil supply.

2 Inch Silicone Hose v.s. 2 Inch Rubber Hose
RONTEIX 2-inch silicone hoses and rubber hoses are used to absorb vibrations, compensate for displacement, and accommodate various piping layouts.
- Material: Our 2-inch silicone hoses typically feature an FKM inner lining and an additional reinforcement layer. Our 2-inch rubber hoses are made from NBR, EPDM, Neoprene, and NR materials, offering superior abrasion resistance.
- Application: Our 2-inch silicone hoses are used to transport high-temperature air, intercooler fluid, supercharged intake air, coolant, and other fluids; rubber hoses are primarily used to transport fuel, engine oil, hydraulic fluid, and abrasive industrial media.
- Weather-Resistant: 2-inch silicone hoses have a wider temperature range and are more weather-resistant than rubber hoses.

RONTEIX 2″ silicone hoses can withstand temperatures ranging from -60 degrees Celsius to 260 degrees Celsius without cracking, melting, or leaking. They can withstand the maximum temperature for several hours.
In vacuum or negative pressure environments, standard silicone hoses are prone to collapsing. We recommend using silicone hoses with a steel wire reinforcement layer or spiral reinforcement, which are suitable for vacuum, liquid suction, and turbocharger intake negative pressure applications. Hoses reinforced with 3–4 layers of polyester or fabric are better suited for pressurization, air intake, and coolant positive pressure applications.
3–4 ply turbo/intercooler silicone hose: The minimum bend radius is typically 100–130 mm / 4–5 inches.
5 ply aramid/ fiberglass reinforce silicone hose: Typically 130–180 mm / 5–7 inches.
Coolan hose with helix wire: Typically 200 mm / 7.9 inches.
- Step 1: Wipe off any grease from the surface and straighten them out naturally.
- Step 2: Use a vernier caliper to measure the outer and inner diameter.
- Step 3: Visually inspect the roundness. If the difference in outer diameter between two directions on the same cross-section exceeds 1 mm, this indicates slight ellipticity.
- Step 4: Slide the pipe onto the fitting, then measure the outer diameter to determine the most suitable clamp.
- For coolant lines, intake hoses, and low-pressure air hoses, we recommend using 3–4 layers of reinforcement.
- For turbocharged systems and intercooler lines, we recommend choosing a 4-layer reinforcement.
- For high-boost systems and lines subject to significant pressure fluctuations, we recommend choosing a 5-layer reinforcement, which offers a higher burst pressure margin.
The size of our clamps is determined by the outer diameter of 2” silicone hoses; adjustable clamps are also available. Our wall thickness can be customized within a range of 3–6 mm; we recommend selecting SAE size 36 or size 40.
RONTEIX 2” silicone hoses are highly susceptible to damage from high temperatures, UV rays, ozone, oil, fuel, chemicals, pressure fluctuations, or variations in the material itself.
The decision to use 2-inch silicone hoses depends on the transfer medium, temperature, pressure, reinforcement structure, standards, and fitting compatibility in the specific application.
