S Shaped Silicone Hose
Featuring heat resistance and flexibility, RONTEIX S-shaped silicone hoses are designed with multiple ply of polyester or aramid reinforcement, working well in harsh engine bay conditions.
- Works well in a temperature range of -40℃ to 250℃, reliable in high-temperature environments such as engine cooling and turbocharging.
- S-shaped silicone hose can navigate around obstacles, components, and existing piping within the engine bay to connect ports that are not aligned.

How is S-Shape Silicone Hose Produced?
With a factory covering over 5,000 square meters, RONTEIX has a monthly production capacity of approximately 30,000 silicone hoses. Our S-shaped silicone hoses are produced within 5 to 7 days through a process involving extrusion, mandrel forming, vulcanization, and demolding.
- Silicone rubber raw material, additives, colour masterbatch and vulcanising agent are mixed together.
- Mixed silicone rubber material is fed through an extruder to form a long, continuous straight silicone tube.
- The cut sections of the straight tube are fitted over a specially designed S-shaped mandrel. S-shaped tubes with complex contours are moulded using a dedicated S-shaped mould. For complex S-shaped silicone hoses, we use a mandrel wrapping process to build the hose layer by layer around a shaped mandrel.
- S-shaped silicone tubing is placed in our vulcanisation oven and vulcanised several times to keep its shape.
- Once our silicone tubing has cooled, it is demoulded and any flash is trimmed away.
