Upgrade Your Engine with Silicone Heater Hoses
Lined Hose Clamps
Our lined hose clamps are primarily used to prevent hoses from being cut or crushed and to prevent hoses from being squeezed out. They feature an outer metal band and an inner protective lining that acts as a protective cushion.
T-Bolt Clamps
Our T-bolt clamps provide a uniform 360° seal and maximum clamping force. Their heavy-duty construction and extremely precise dimensions allow them to accommodate the thermal expansion and contraction of silicone tubing.
Constant-Tension Clamps
Our constant-tension clamps feature a self-adjusting spring mechanism and a maintenance-free design. They effectively compensate for the gaps caused by the repeated expansion and contraction of silicone tubing.
Our silicone hose clamps provide a precise, dynamic seal that absorbs both vibration and stress, protecting the silicone hose walls and preventing the hose from coming loose.

What Size Silicone Heater Hose Do You Need?
RONTEIX offers silicone heater hoses with inner diameters of 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, 1, 1-1/4, and 1-1/2 inches. You should measure the outer diameters of the hoses and fittings precisely in advance using a vernier caliper to ensure that any deviation does not exceed 0.5 mm.
You can replicate the part directly using the OEM hose ID, hose OD, part number, vehicle model, engine model, and hose length.
The final size can also be determined based on the required coolant flow rate, equipment fitting size, operating pressure, temperature, minimum bend radius, and available installation space.

Silicone Heater Hoses v.s. Rubber Heater Hoses

RONTEIX silicone heating hoses are designed to enhance vehicle performance, especially during long-distance drives or in extreme weather conditions.
RONTEIX rubber heater hoses are particularly suitable for passenger cars and standard temperature conditions. Our hoses offer high abrasion resistance, which can significantly reduce costs.
- Temperature Resistance: Silicone heater hoses can withstand temperatures up to 360°F and are suitable for high-temperature engine compartments. Rubber heater hoses, on the other hand, have a slightly lower temperature limit and are suitable for standard heating systems.
- Flexibility: As long as the minimum bend radius is observed, our silicone heater hoses can be routed to avoid engine components, the exhaust system, and electrical wiring.
- Abrasion resistance: EPDM offers better abrasion resistance than silicone, especially in high-friction environments.
If you would like more detailed information on the differences to help you purchase heater hoses, please send us your specific requirements.
Silicone Heater Hoses v.s. Silicone Radiator Hoses
RONTEIX silicone heater hoses, along with the engine and the heater core, make up a vehicle’s heating system.
The primary function of RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses is to transport coolant between the engine and the radiator to cool the engine.
Diameter: Our silicone radiator hoses are designed to carry more coolant, which requires a larger diameter and a more robust construction. In contrast, our silicone heater hoses have a lower coolant flow rate and require a smaller bend radius to increase flexibility and avoid interfering with engine components.
Pressure Resistance: Our silicone heater hoses have much lower pressure resistance requirements than radiator hoses and pose a lower risk of leakage.

Testimonials
RONTEIX silicone heater hoses are not resistant to petroleum, fuel, or strong solvents. Prolonged exposure to petroleum can cause the hoses to swell, soften, and fail.
5/8 inch (15.9 mm): Primarily used in compact and full-size sedans, as well as small SUVs.
3/4 inch (19.1 mm): Primarily used in full-size pickup trucks, large SUVs, and some high-performance vehicles.
1/2 inch (12.7 mm): Primarily used in small engines, motorcycles, or specific auxiliary heater circuits.
Inappropriate Clamps
Our silicone heater hoses are not easily compressed or deformed, so the clamping force of the clamps cannot be converted into a reduction in material thickness that would cut through the silicone hose.
Improper Sizing
If the inner diameter of the silicone heater hoses exceeds the outer diameter of the fitting, leaks are likely. If it is smaller than the outer diameter, the hoses may tear.
Chemical Incompatibility
Our silicone heater hoses will swell, soften, and crack when they come into contact with engine oil or fuel.
Flow Restrictions
If the bending radius is too tight, our silicone heater hoses may kink or collapse. This leads to localized pressure buildup, causing leaks at the weakest points.
Damaged Fittings
If a fitting is damaged, rusted, has sharp edges, burrs, or is corroded, a leak may occur.
Hose Collapse
At the pump’s inlet, low vacuum can cause silicone heater hoses to collapse inward, obstructing coolant flow. As a result, the engine will overheat rapidly.
Internal Swelling
If engine or transmission fluid leaks onto the silicone heater hoses, the silicone material will absorb the fluid and expand internally.
Kinking or Sharp Bends
If the bending radius is too small, silicone heater pipes may kink or fold, causing damage to the flow path.
Blowout or Bursting
A sudden burst or rupture in a hose can cause a rapid loss of coolant, leading to engine overheating.
Visible Physical Damage
If the surface of silicone heater hoses shows cracks, bulges, kinks, or severe creases that affect the internal flow channels, they must be replaced.
Chemical Contamination
If silicone heater hoses feel soft or spongy to the touch, or if they swell when exposed to oil, they must be replaced.
Age and Degradation
If silicone heater hoses become extremely hard or soft, show severe discoloration, or lose structural integrity, they must be replaced immediately.
Persistent Leaks
If the leak cannot be repaired, the silicone heater hoses must be replaced promptly.
The pressure-bearing capacity of RONTEIX silicone heater hoses generally depends on their internal reinforcement structure. We guarantee that our burst pressure is at least four times the maximum system pressure.
RONTEIX silicone heater hoses are flexible enough to absorb high-frequency engine vibrations; they are resistant to kinking and do not require excessive force during installation. Their smooth inner walls reduce fluid turbulence and flow resistance, improving heat transfer efficiency; They offer excellent aesthetic appeal and resist fading even with long-term use, enhancing the overall visual appearance.
