Production Process
RONTEIX has a factory covering more than 4,000 square meters and a complete production line for rubber air hoses, including an internal mixer, an open mill, a cold-feed rubber extruder, a braiding machine, a winding machine, a vulcanizing tank, and a cutting machine.

This is our internal mixer and open mill, used to control temperature, time, and shear force, ensuring that various mixtures are evenly dispersed.

This is our cold-feed rubber extruder, which primarily uses a die to form a tubular inner rubber layer, then cooled and set in a water tank.
This is our winding machine, which winds steel wire or rope in spiral layers to provide pressure resistance and resistance to pulse fatigue.

On top of the reinforcement layer, we use an extruder to extrude the outer rubber layer simultaneously.
This is our hot-air vulcanization machine, which is used to chemically cure rubber, forming a three-dimensional network elastomer.
Using a pulling machine and a cutting machine, we remove the core from the vulcanized hose and clean its surface. We then conduct a pneumatic pressure test, a burst pressure test, and a pulse fatigue test.

Testimonials
RONTEIX EPDM air hoses are not resistant to mineral oils and petroleum-based dyes, and the hose body is prone to swelling and damage. However, our EPDM air hoses offer excellent UV and temperature resistance.
RONTEIX nitrile air hoses resist non-polar oils and fuels. They are prone to aging and cracking upon prolonged exposure to sunlight, lose flexibility at low temperatures, and are not water-resistant.
Airflow efficiency
Metal air intake hoses have low airflow resistance, but bending and welding processes can affect their efficiency. Our rubber air hoses are molded and feature a flexible design, resulting in a smoother airflow path and lower resistance.
Heat management
Rubber air hoses provide better thermal insulation than metal air hoses, protecting the intake air from the engine’s heat.
structural integrity
Metal air intake hoses are resistant to high temperatures and high pressure, but they lack flexibility in turbocharged vehicles. Our rubber air hoses can absorb engine vibrations and movement. However, they are prone to swelling and bulging under turbocharger pressure. We recommend adding fabric or steel wire reinforcement.
Vibration damping
Rubber air hoses are far more effective than metal air hoses at dampening vibrations and absorbing engine movement.
Yes, you can choose to replace the fitting or use a hose repair kit to fix it.
If the fitting is severely damaged, you will need to remove the damaged fitting, thoroughly clean the end of the hose, and install a new fitting.
If the hose itself has a minor puncture or tear, you can repair it using a patch, a strong adhesive, or a hose clamp.
Yes, RONTEIX rubber air hoses can withstand temperatures as low as -40°C to 50°C, especially EPDM and synthetic rubber. Our hoses will not crack or lose elasticity, remaining soft and flexible even in sub-zero environments.
NO, rubber air hoses are not resistant to propane corrosion, which can easily cause gas to permeate through the hose walls or lead to material degradation.
The service life of RONTEIX rubber air hoses is influenced by the working environment, frequency and intensity of use, and material quality. Our hoses typically have a service life of 5 to 10 years. With proper maintenance, selecting synthetic rubber and adding high-strength braided and wrapped layers can extend their service life.
