Why Choose RONTEIX Elbow Silicone Hose?
High Temperature and Environmental Resistance
Our silicone elbow hoses can withstand a wide temperature range, from -40℃ to 260℃. They are resistant to ozone, UV light, moisture, and automotive fluids under extreme conditions.
Structural Stability
We utilise appropriate bend radius and uniform wall thickness control to ensure a stable physical structure; through a secondary vulcanisation process, we form a dense, uniform cross-linked network from the molecular chains of the silicone structure. We also incorporate highly elastic reinforcing agents to prevent permanent deformation.
Pressure Handling
Our silicone elbow hoses are resistant to swelling, overstretching, and collapse. They can maintain their shape under high pressure thanks to their reinforcement layer.
Lightweight and Space-Saving Design
Our silicone material has a density of less than 1.3 g/cm³, significantly reducing its weight. Silicone flexible joints can bend freely, eliminating the need for complex alignment and compensating for misalignment.

Elbow Rubber Hose
RONTEIX offers rubber elbow hoses made from EPDM, NBR, and CR materials. Our hoses angles include 45°, 90°, 135°, and 180°, with diameters including 1.25″, 1.5″, 2″, 2.5″, 3″, 4″, 5″, and 6″. These hoses are primarily designed to prevent kinks, collapses, flow restrictions, and stress concentrations caused by forced bending.
Molded Rubber Hose Elbows
Our molded rubber elbow hoses undergo a rigorous vulcanization process to ensure high elasticity. They are used in shock absorbers, fuel lines, and as seals for industrial equipment.
Rubber Reducing Elbow
Our rubber reducing elbows are used to reduce the pipe diameter from a larger size to a smaller one.
Rubber Elbow Coupler
Our rubber elbow couplers are used to connect metal pipes; compared to silicone, they are more wear-resistant and fuel-resistant, and are also more cost-effective.
RONTEIX rubber elbow hoses adjust the ratio of fluorocarbon rubber to NBR based on the conveyed medium to prevent inner wall delamination caused by medium incompatibility.
We use a spiral-wound process, which provides greater resistance to radial forces; combined with a shorter elbow length, this reduces hysteresis energy absorption.
Aluminum Elbow Pipe
RONTEIX offers aluminum elbow pipes in various angles and sizes, including 15°, 45°, 90°, 180°, and 1/2″ – 7/8″, 1.00″ – 1.50″, 1.75″ – 2.50″, 2.75″ – 3.50″, and 4.00″ – 5.00″ outer diameters.
Our hoses have low density, which significantly reduces structural weight while providing an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio.
In harsh outdoor or chemical environments, aluminum’s corrosion resistance and weather resistance extend the service life of the hoses.
Aluminum elbow hoses are easy to fabricate and have high thermal conductivity. We can improve the thermal efficiency of heat exchangers, refrigeration, cold storage, and engine cooling systems to meet industrial energy-efficiency standards.
Our aluminum hoses have a recycling rate of over 90%, meeting environmental certification requirements.

Manufacturing Process
At RONTEIX, from inspection of raw materials upon receipt to the final finished product, we maintain strict control over every step of the production process and adhere 100% to standardized production and rigorous procedures. Below is our production process step by step.
We add HTV/HCR or LSR along with reinforcing agents, fillers, vulcanizing agents, color concentrates, antistatic agents, and other additives. Then, we load the weighed raw rubber and auxiliary materials into an internal mixer for blending.
Our composite material is rolled and extruded through a roller, forming sheets of a specified thickness. It is then cooled and set before being automatically cut to the required dimensions.
We first apply an inner layer, then continue to wind the reinforcement layer onto the adhesive layer to enhance the strength of the tube. Using a method of overlapping and interlacing, we precisely control the winding process, gently pulling the material whilst winding at a steady speed to ensure there are no bubbles or air gaps between the layers.
Select a specialised wet wrapping tape or cellophane, and begin winding it in a spiral pattern, starting from the flat end of the silicone hose. When applying to curved areas, slow down the wrapping speed and use your hands to press the product into place. At the seams, cover the centre first, then work outwards towards both sides.
We use a vulcanisation process to give the silicone elbow hose its initial shape. After vulcanisation, the hose is removed from the mould and placed in an oven for secondary vulcanisation to improve its tensile strength, resilience, and resistance to permanent compression set.
After cooling to a safe temperature, we demold manually or with the aid of a mold. For fully cured silicone elbow hoses, we need to pull them out slowly along the draft angle of the mold, using a pry bar if necessary, to prevent scratching the mold and the hoses.
We use silk-screen printing, mould embossing and UV transfer printing to imprint brand logos onto the surface of silicone elbow hoses. If your logo is simple and you are looking for value for money, you may wish to opt for silk-screen printing; if you are seeking a permanent finish, we recommend mould embossing.
We strictly adhere to quality control standards in the European Union, North America and Asia, and use specialist gauges to measure wall thickness, length, radius, bend angle and outside diameter. We also test the durability of materials under high pressure and high temperature to ensure they do not deform within the specified limits.

Customization: You can customise silicone elbow hoses to any specific internal diameter.
Measure the Inner Diameter
Use a caliper to measure the outer diameter of the hose, then select a silicone elbow hose with an inner diameter that matches the pipe’s outer diameter.
Determine the Angle
Place a protractor against the bend to determine the exact angle.
Measure the Length
Use a tape measure to measure the route the hose will follow; you will need to account for bends and curves and allow a little extra length for adjustments during installation.
Choose the Right Clamps
Choose lined worm drive clamps, T-bolt clamps, or spring clamps to secure hoses and avoid cuts.
Yes, RONTEIX silicone elbow hoses are manufactured with a margin to account for measurement errors. Furthermore, as silicone is elastic and flexible, they can be cut using a rotary cutter, a hand knife, or a fully automatic silicone hose cutter. When cutting hoses with a reinforcement layer, please ensure you use a sharp, fine-toothed saw.
RONTEIX offers a range of colours, including red, blue, black, orange, green, yellow, purple, white and others, for you to choose from.
Function: Silicone elbow hoses are mainly used for redirecting fluid or air. Reducer hoses are used to seamlessly connect two pipes or components of different sizes.
Fluid Dynamics: Pressure loss in silicone elbow hoses depends on the bend radius and the smoothness of the inner wall. Reducer hoses feature a smooth conical transition section; the gradual change in cross-sectional area helps to reduce turbulence, pressure loss, and fluid separation.
Manufacturing and Installation Challenges: During the manufacture of silicone elbow hoses, ensure precise mandrel bending and mould forming to maintain uniform wall thickness. Ensure that the bending angles are perfectly aligned during assembly. When fitting reducer hoses, ensure that the hoses are inserted to the correct depth at both the larger and smaller ends.
An excessively small bend radius may adversely affect the performance and service life of silicone elbow hoses.
The smaller the bend radius, the greater the excessive compression on the inner wall and the excessive stretching on the outer wall of the silicone elbow hoses. This can lead to localised failure of the inner wall reinforcement layer, premature delamination and, ultimately, a burst hose.
Sharp bends with a small radius force fluids or air to change direction abruptly, thereby generating severe turbulence.
A larger, gentler bend allows the fluid to flow smoothly, minimising energy loss as much as possible.
RONTEIX reinforced silicone elbow hoses offer improved resistance to collapse under negative pressure and greater scratch resistance. If vacuum suction or negative pressure is involved, you will need to choose steel wire reinforcements to prevent collapse.
RONTEIX silicone elbow hoses, used as BOV pipes, can withstand high positive pressure and are heat- /vibration-resistant. They enable the blow-off valve to connect smoothly and release excess pressure generated when the throttle is closed, thereby protecting the turbocharger and maintaining the vehicle’s power.
Excessive Internal Pressure
The actual working pressure may exceed the hose’s rated limit, causing the hose to be forced off.
Thermal Expansion
Failure to allow sufficient expansion space will result in the thrust caused by thermal expansion forcing the hose out of the coupling.
Improper Clamping
Insufficient clamping force, incorrect positioning, or insufficient insertion depth can all result in the clamping force not being distributed effectively.
Mechanical Stress & Vibration
If the hose is pulled too tight to close the gap, it will continue to retract. High-frequency vibrations from the engine can cause the clamps to loosen.
RONTEIX silicone elbow hoses can be used as flexible connectors between rigid aluminium pipes. During installation, care must be taken to leave sufficient clearance between the metal ends to prevent friction and ensure full insertion.
Visible Surface Damage
Surface cracks and fissures, discolouration and yellowing, and the appearance of a white powder.
Loss of Elasticity and Deformation
Silicone may soften or harden, become permanently deformed, or swell.
Performance Issues
A fluid leak, or a hose coming loose from a fitting under pressure. The flow rate drops or becomes erratic.
For the turbo inlet/suction side: Use steel-reinforced silicone tubing to prevent the hose from collapsing under vacuum.
For standard boost lines: Use four reinforcement plies to withstand a boost pressure of 1.5–2 bar.
For high-boost, track and large-diameter applications: use 5-ply reinforcements to prevent the hose from bulging under extremely high boost pressures.
For extreme heat or proximity to exhaust systems: Use a Nomex or aramid reinforcement layer, which offers resistance to ageing and thermal fatigue.
