Silicone Straight Hump Hose
RONTEIX silicone hump hose features a corrugated design capable of absorbing shock and vibration. Designed with one or two convolutions, our hose is ideal for connecting intercoolers and charge air coolers to piping systems.
We offer a range of reinforcement materials for options:
Polyester: Available with 1 to 4 plies of polyester reinforcement, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 180°C.
Aramid: Offers high strength and tear resistance, withstanding continuous temperatures from -40°C to +220°C, suitable for heavy-duty construction machinery and racing vehicles.

How to Cut Silicone Hose Straight?
Tools you need:
- utility knife, sharp hose cutter, wire cutters, pliers
- marker, clamps
If it is an unreinforced silicone tube with a diameter of no more than 8mm, you can directly cut the tube with wire cutters or scissors.
For large-diameter silicone hoses:
- Measure the required length and mark the hose where the cut is to be made.
- Secure a T-bolt hose clamp tightly over the marked area.
- Carefully cut along the edge of the hose clamp using a utility knife.
- Remove the hose clamp, check that the cut is clean and straight, and trim away any excess burrs.
Wear protective gloves while cutting, and be careful not to cut your fingers.
