Benefits of Silicone Radiator Hoses
Enhanced Durability and Lifespan
Silicone radiator tubes maintain their flexibility and strength even when exposed to prolonged heat and chemical corrosion, reducing the frequency of replacement.
Aesthetic Appeal
With a metallic sheen and available in a variety of colors, it enhances the visual appeal of the engine compartment.
Easy to remove and maintain
Our silicone radiator hoses typically do not stick to the radiator or the engine’s metal fittings, making them easier to remove and replace.
Silicone Radiator Hose Clamps
Liner Worm-Drive Clamps
Our clamps are made of stainless steel and feature a helical gear clamp design. They are lined with a flexible material that protects the surface of silicone radiator hoses and prevents indentations.
T-Bolt Clamps
Our T-bolt clamps ensure even pressure distribution with no dead spots thanks to their wide steel bands and T-bolt design, and they do not damage silicone radiator hoses.
Spring Clamps
Our spring clamps rely on spring elasticity and pressure to adjust, as the hose expands and contracts due to temperature changes. Once installed, they lock into place and cannot be resized.

If you are interested in our silicone radiator hoses, please send us an email.
How to Install Silicone Radiator Hose?
Step 1: Use a scraper or wire brush to remove all old rubber residue, scale, and debris. Thoroughly clean the metal surface to remove any tiny particles that could create pathways for slow leaks.
Step 2: Apply soapy water or a specialized hose lubricant to the back of the radiator hoses to prevent dry friction.
Step 3: Slide the hose into the fitting until it is fully seated, then slide the clamp to the end of the radiator hose and tighten it evenly.
Step 4: After installation is complete, fill the system with coolant and bleed out all trapped air. Check all connections for leaks or bulges.

Aluminum Radiator Hoses vs Silicone Radiator Hoses

RONTEIX aluminum radiator hoses are used to connect stationary piping systems to maintain their shape, reduce flow resistance, and enhance both aesthetics and structural strength.
RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses are used to connect all static connection points to absorb vibrations and movement.
- In terms of physical properties, aluminum radiator hoses are rigid and cannot flex, whereas silicone radiator hoses can be bent and absorb vibrations and movement.
- In terms of core functions, aluminum radiator hoses channel fluid and provide structural support, while silicone radiator hoses are used for connections and shock absorption.
- In terms of vibration damping, silicone radiator hoses offer better shock absorption than aluminum hoses, helping protect the radiator and engine connections.
- Silicone radiator hoses are better able to handle thermal expansion than aluminum radiator hoses, absorbing it through their flexibility.

Manufacturing Process
The RONTEIX factory covers an area of 4,000 square meters and features a complete production line for silicone radiator hoses. Depending on specific requirements, we utilize three main manufacturing processes: hand-wrapped, extrusion, and injection molding. Below is a detailed description of these processes, along with our subsequent quality control procedures.
These are the key processes we use to manufacture our custom T-shaped, S-shaped, and U-shaped silicone radiator hoses. Through mandrel preparation, inner layer coating, reinforcement wrapping, outer layer coating, curing, and demolding, we produce high-performance hoses with complex shapes.
This process is primarily used to produce straight tubes or simple bent tubes. Through mixing, extrusion, continuous vulcanization, reinforcement, cooling, and winding, we produce hoses with consistent length and dimensional uniformity.

Testimonials
RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses can be manufactured using methods such as machine extrusion, molding, and hand-winding to meet both high-volume production and custom orders.
We do not recommend bending silicone radiator hoses after heating them, as this can cause the hose to kink, the internal structure to rupture, or the hose wall to collapse.
If you want to use curved silicone radiator hoses to fit your vehicle’s tubing layout, it’s best to use elbow silicone radiator hoses.
RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses undergo volume changes due to three factors: thermal expansion, curing shrinkage, and hygroscopic swelling.
Thermal Expansion
Silicone expands and contracts 10 to 20 times more than metal; it expands when heated and contracts when cooled. To restrict the radial expansion of the silicone and prevent the radiator hoses from bulging under system pressure, we embed 3 to 5 layers of reinforcement inside them.
Curing Shrinkage
To address the permanent volume shrinkage that occurs during the manufacturing and initial vulcanization stages of silicone radiator hoses, we increase the mold size to compensate for the shrinkage.
Hygroscopic Swelling
This is a slight, reversible expansion caused by prolonged exposure to high temperatures and high humidity, and it does not affect the performance of silicone radiator hoses.
RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses are resistant to thermal cycling fatigue, corrosion, and electrochemical degradation. They can be used for more than 10 years, and their performance will not deteriorate as long as they remain physically intact.
RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses do not harden, crack, or develop peeling on the inner walls due to material aging. Generally, the main causes of leaks are improper installation, faulty fittings, or external physical damage.
Leaks at Joints
If clamps are not properly secured: The smooth surface of silicone and its low coefficient of friction can cause the clamps to loosen, leading to seal failure. If the radiator hoses are the wrong size, the clamps cannot compensate for the stress, and water will leak from the joints. If there are scratches, rust pits, or old adhesive residue at the joints, coolant will seep out through the gaps.
Leaks in the Pipes
If leaks occur due to aging, external wear, or electrochemical degradation of the silicone radiator pipes, inspect the wiring throughout the vehicle and repair any issues promptly to ensure proper electrical potential.
False Leak
In humid environments, water droplets may form on the outer surface of our silicone radiator hoses when the engine is cold; this does not affect performance.
Compared to traditional rubber radiator hoses, RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses have a lower surface temperature and keep the engine running cooler. As a result, our hoses can lower the temperature in the engine compartment, reduce the risk of burns, and prevent heat soak.
RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses will not evaporate, melt, or degrade throughout their service life. The coolant inside may experience slight leakage and evaporation; therefore, it is important to monitor the coolant level during routine maintenance and top it off as needed.
RONTEIX silicone coolant hoses have a lifespan of over 10 years, but their lifespan usually ends due to improper installation, chemical corrosion, physical damage, or system failure.
RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses can be cleaned with high-pressure water and a mild descaling solution to remove old coolant, rust, or debris from the inside.
Step 1: Wait for the engine to cool completely, and disconnect the battery.
Step 2: Drain the coolant.
Step 3: Locate the upper silicone radiator hoses and the clamps securing both ends, then use the appropriate tool to loosen them.
Step 4: Once the clamps are loosened and pulled back, gently twist the silicone radiator hoses back and forth to break the seal, then pull them off the radiator and engine block.
Step 5: Use a towel to remove all rubber residue, mineral deposits, and debris, and check the metal fittings for cracks, corrosion, or sharp edges that could scratch the new silicone radiator hoses.
Lower Silicone Radiator Hoses: Our silicone radiator hoses primarily connect the inlet chamber at the top of the radiator to the engine’s cylinder head.
Upper Silicone Radiator Hoses: Our silicone radiator hoses are primarily used to connect the outlet chamber at the bottom of the radiator to the water pump’s inlet.
The price of RONTEIX silicone radiator hoses primarily depends on factors such as the silicone material and the vulcanization and manufacturing processes. If you need vehicle-specific parts, they are typically more expensive than universal hoses that do not require tooling.
